Our Mission

A gift to Friends of Ballet South makes an enormous difference in the training of our students,  the success they achieve and ultimately the development of the arts in our community.

Gifts provide funding for such things as guest teachers, performances, scholarships and community outreach events. Tutus and pointe shoes are expensive too.  In short, every aspect of a student’s training is touched by your generosity!

Dance, ballet and the arts should not be restricted to a few. The development of the arts in our community is crucial to the harmonious development of our youth. Not every child likes sports but, unfortunately, the funding dedicated to the arts and arts education is comparatively minute.  We need your support.
